Thursday 3rd CLUB NIGHT:
Alpine Mountaineering Course with Alpine Guides
Grant Upson
Grant Upson, sponsored by Andrew Harris Trust, attended an
Alpine Mountaineering course in the Southern Alps based at
Kelman Hut on the Tasman Glacier. Tonight he is going to
show you his pictures and take you through the course he
attended. Tonight you will be able to hear about the
Andrew Harris Trust and what it is all about.
Come along to
Foundation of the Blind, Vivian Street – 8pm start.
Gold coin donation for tea and bickies afterwards.

Thursday 1st CLUB NIGHT:
South Island Climbing & Trekking in the 50’s & 60’s
Peter Barker
Back by popular demand Peter Barker tonight is going to show
us slides of their second trip into the Huxley. It was their second
climb of Mt Huxley. From there they passed over into the Hunter
River, camping on the Broderick Pass, went around to Mt Elcho
and climbed Mt Ward.
A night to be attended.
Come along to
Foundation of the Blind, Vivian Street – 8pm start.
