Club nights

Usually held every first Thursday of the month at Foundation for the blind, 131 Vivian Street. 7.30pm (winter).

These nights allow club members to share their experiences, listen to guest speakers, enjoy social events and provide a chance for club members to organise weekend activities.

Everyone welcome!  New members: don't be shy, a good chance to come along and meet other members, and perhaps find a tramping buddy!

Remember your gold coin donation and be ready for an 7.30pm start.

Coming up also! Mark these in your diaries!

CLUB NIGHTS

November 3:

Two tales one mountain and more!

We have two great climbers from the club talking about trying to climb, and climbing Malte Brun

-Ivan Bruce attempted to climb Malte in February, but a big storm in the middle of the night change that and it became a battle for survival.

-Mark Hall a few years earlier attempted the same classic South island mountain and had the weather on his side. Mark will also talk about some of his other climbs down south and maybe some old climbs of Mt Egmont/Taranaki.

This club night will be great insight into what can happen to you in the mountains, both good and bad. A must see!

December 1:

Photo competition and the Presidents shout combined!  Two popular and fun events on one night!
